In a bold strategic move, Anthropic has announced that it will offer its Claude AI models to all three branches of the U.S. government—including executive, legislative, and judiciary branches—for a nominal fee of just $1 for one year. This offer is intended to broaden the company’s reach across federal AI applications.

This initiative follows the recent inclusion of Anthropic in the General Services Administration’s list of approved AI vendors. This enables the company to offer its advanced AI capabilities to civilian federal agencies, emphasizing the significance of AI in tackling complex governmental challenges, from scientific research to public service improvements.
